THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA STATE OFFICE OF INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY (SOIP)

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE OF SOIP

According to the new Systematisation Act, which came into force on 20 July 2004, SOIP is made up of four departments comprising eight sections:

I.  PATENT AND TECHNOLOGY WATCH DEPARTMENT

  1. Patent Section
  2. Technology Watch & Promotion Section

 II. TRADEMARK, INDUSTRIAL DESIGN & APPELLATION OF ORIGIN DEPARTMENT

  1. Trademark Section
  2. Industrial Design, Appellation of Origin and Geographical Indication Section

 III. INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION & LEGAL DEPARTMENT

  1. International Co-operation Section
  2. Legal Section

 IV. ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT

  1. Human Resources & Administrative Section
  2. Publishing & Information Technology Section

PERSONNEL

The total number of employees according to the Systematisation Act should be 50.
