4-7 October 2004 – Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro Operational seminar EF1/PU: the Role of Customs in Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy

Designed for Customs operational officers and consisted of practical exercise on risk analysis and targeting counterfeited and pirated goods, including best European and international practice in the field of Customs enforcement.

Hosted by the Customs Service of the Republic of Serbia in collaboration with the EC Directorate-General for Taxation and the Customs Union (DGTAXaxUD), and the participation of WIPO, IFPI, the Customs and Fiscal Assistance Office in Serbia. Representatives from many companies as Procter&Gamble, L’Oreal, Philip Morris, and Nike were present on this event.
