Statement from the Conference participants/speakers
Mr. Miho Trampuz, Head of Law Offices, Copyright Agency of Slovenia, made comments about the Conference: “The question of enforcement of IPR is a priority within the EU. This shows that adoption of the special Directive in 2004. This topic has been an issue in Slovenia for the last 10 years, that is before and after the accession the EU. I see the same way of dealing of the matter within the Serbia and Montenegro, where by the Slovenian experience can be of help which we would be happy to provide with our S&M friends”.
Mrs. Federica Dusman, Deputy Attorney General, Republic of Croatia, quoted: “The topics for the Conference were very good chosen and the practical issues of IPR were covered enough. This is the global issue with very important economical implications on the economy, and for this reason education is very much necessary. It is important for us to receive conference materials on CD’s, as we were promised, because we will use it in the future. The presentation of Mr. Trampuz was especially valuable for our work, as well as the other ones. The solutions for practical cases are most useful, and this could be maybe covered more widely on some future seminars. As for other aspects of the Conference, everything was perfect. Good organization, accommodation, food, evening entertainment, socializing, everything comfortable and casual. It is good to be back home with the feeling that it was worth traveling. We believe that this kind of regional events should be organized more frequently. Keep on like this”.
