Ronald Brohm – Director SNB-REACT International provisions in EU Enforcement Directive and TRIPS Foreign expert -Civil lawyer will explain the meaning of the various international provisions. Good practices in EU countries will be put forward as examples.
09.15 Dragos Dumitru, public prosecutor chief of the IPR Department - Romania Specialized Public Prosecutor will explain the specific issues involved in IPR issues. Notably; assumption of innocence in IPR measures, notion of intend; witness statements – role of rights owners- , remedies, claims for damages. As well as more technical issues like how to evaluate the police report, prepare an indictment of charges, defend the case in Court …
